Award-winning media maven turned real estate entrepreneur and podcaster, Zamantungwa
Khumalo is a pioneer in all things property in South Africa. Using her nearly decade experience in media, she hosts The Private Property Podcast with Zamantungwa Khumalo, a groundbreaking daily podcast that engages, informs and empowers South Africans to navigate their home ownership journey with ease and confidence. By the age of 12, she had founded her first non-profit, T.R.I.B.E (Teenagers Responsible In Building Ekasi).
Khumalo is a world-class moderator and speaker, who has moderated conversations with Presidents, Ministers, C-Suite executives, to leaders of nonprofits and higher institutions of learning. Previously a senior media manager, she was the Head of Content: Supplements & Commercial Projects at the Mail & Guardian. While in this role she was one of the winners at the 2019 African Digital Media Awards in the ‘Best Digital Project to Engage Younger and/or Millennial Audiences’ category for the multiplatform #MG200Young project she spearheaded.
In 2019 Khumalo was awarded the Best Young Achiever Award by the Premier of Gauteng, David Makhura during the Premier’s Service Excellence Awards for her work in advancing youth issues both locally and internationally. In the same year, she was appointed to the Department of Higher Education, Science and Technology Ministerial Task Team on the 4th Industrial Revolution by Minister Naledi Pandor – she was the youngest member of the Task Team. In 2017, she was named one of 50 Changemakers Advancing Women’s Equality in South Africa.
Khumalo is an avid hiker and has summited Mount Emlembe, the highest mountain in Eswatini and Thabana Ntlenyana, the highest mountain in Southern Africa.

Vuyiswa Ramokgopa is currently CEO at the South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners (SAIBPP) and Chairperson of the National Property Practitioners Council. She also serves as a non-executive director on the board of independent mortgage brokerage, Multinet Home Loans Pty (Ltd) as well as JSE listed logistics REIT, Fortress REIT, where she chairs the Social, Ethics and Sustainability Committee. Vuyiswa is a serial entrepreneur in her own right who has founded and run several companies in her 14 year career and has gained extensive multi-sectoral experience in: strategy development & implementation, entrepreneurship, leading business turnaround, marketing & communications, transformation, ESG and corporate governance.
As a fierce advocate for the advancement of women, youth and the development of the African continent, she voluntarily serves in the Black Business Council Women’s Alliance and has recently been invited to serve on the SA Chapter of the BRICS Women Alliance.
She holds a BCom in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from UCT and has acquired executive certificates in Property Development and Investment (UCT) and Finance (GIBS).

Tracey Lee Miller recently joined (one of south africa’s biggest online real estate brands) Private Property as Brand and Marketing Executive and she is taking the market by a storm. She is the heart behind the transformation of a brand that’s turning 22 this year.
Tracey Lee-Miller will be the Master of Ceremonies for the Nexus series of events and launched the Virtual Property Show, SA’s largest online property exhibition.

Nqabs is a qualified CA(SA) who has a career in auditing, accounting, taxation (both in SA and 15 African countries) and then property. He also obtained a Higher Diploma and Masters in Domestic and International Taxation. He has several property related qualifications as well. He is passionate about investment management and it comes naturally to him. Nqabenhle, as an Asset Manager position at Growthpoint Properties, his responsibilities include providing strategic direction of the property fund.
This involves managing financial performance of the assets, oversee sales and acquisitions from start to finish, extracting maximum value on the properties, identify redevelopment opportunities on existing portfolio. He is also responsible for due diligence exercises. He has experience in setting up property funds and managing them. He established Masibambisane Property Fund 1 about 5 years ago & raised about R3,6 million from 29 investors.
Investor Of The Year Winner 2019
Dana Boonzaier, titled the Investor of the Year of 2019 is a property investor from Bloemfontein. He is a physiotherapist by profession but only works part-time as a physio due to his success through property. Starting his property journey in 2008, Dana chose to focus strongly on the student accommodation market in Bloemfontein. In the 18 months leading up to the Investor of the Year awards, he was able to double his entire property portfolio. Dana mentions that his beloved wife, Sandra Boonzaier and their two children, Christian and Zandri are truly his biggest motivation for what he does.
Dana Boonzaier states that an integral part in investing in property is education and continues to add that having access to and being a part of networks such as SA Property Investors Network are also of utmost importance. The biggest goal for Dana is to add value to other people’s lives. He does this as a physiotherapist, but also through property by educating others in the investment of property and providing roofs over people’s heads and employment to others. By doing so, he is helping to move South Africa forward.

Andrew is a HUGE believer in creating multiple streams of income. Over time, Andrew has identified various ways to structure deals and raise capital. Andrew has personally been involved in more than 600 property transactions, both in South Africa and the UK where he assisted other Investors in building their property portfolio. He bought his first investment property at the age of 21, proving that age is just a number. After realizing the wealth creation opportunities that property investment offers, he soon bought his second property and embarked on his journey as a property entrepreneur. Passion is Andrew ‘s middle name, he naturally has the desire to pass on knowledge to others.
