How to Enter

Follow the entry process outlined below to submit your deal, complete the required checks,
and progress through the stages of the Investor of the Year Awards.

Provide basic contact and deal information to begin the process.

SAPIN will contact you for verification
Our team verifies eligibility and clarifies any details.

Submit your deal and paperwork
Upload all property documents required for accurate scoring.

Due diligence will be conducted
Each deal undergoes a formal review for accuracy and completeness.

First-round of judging to kick off
A panel of industry experts will meet with you to discuss and score your deal in person.

Successful entrants proceed to the next round
Finalists will be invited for interviews and prepared for the gala evening.
Entry Requirements
To enter, you must:
• Be a South African resident
• Submit a legitimate verifiable deal
• Provide all documents for due diligence
• Agree to the judging and scoring process
• Be available for interviews if selected as a finalist
Terms & Conditions
1. The Investor of the Year title is awarded to the winner of either the Big League or Intermediate category.
2. Each investor may enter up to two categories.
3. All entries must be supported by accurate and complete documentation.
4. Deals submitted will undergo a full due diligence review to verify figures, ownership, compliance and feasibility.
5. Only deals that pass the due diligence review will progress to judging.
6. Judges’ decisions are final and based on the information provided at the time of submission.
7. Entrants must be willing to participate in interviews and provide additional documents if requested.
8. By entering, participants confirm that all information submitted is truthful and legally compliant.

10. Any falsified, misleading or incomplete submissions may result in disqualification.
11. SAPIN reserves the right to reclassify or move an entry to the most appropriate category if required.
12. Prizes must be claimed within 12 months from the awards date.
If a winner is unable to claim their prize due to circumstances outside of their control, including but not limited to a pandemic, national shutdown, or government restrictions, the prize partner and SAPIN will work together to provide a reasonable extension or an alternative arrangement where possible. Any extensions or alternatives remain at the discretion of the prize partner and are subject to availability.
