Rules about the entry process

• • Closing date to complete the application is 31 July 2024.
  • The non-refundable entry fee of R350 includes a single ticket to attend the event virtually.
  • Should you wish to attend the physical event or cinema experience, this will be at an additional cost.
  • Your entry must be completed online:
    • No printing & scanning of the entry form
  • All documents related to the deal must be uploaded to the supplied G-drive Folder.
  • When you have completed the entry and you are satisfied with it you need to click the COMPLETE APPLICATION PROCESS button in the email that gave you the link to this folder:
    • Your submission is then FINAL, you cannot add more to your submission after this point.
    • If you forgot something from the checklist below your submission may be rejected.
  • One application fee = One application. One deal, one person or one company representative.
  • It must be your own deal.
  • The deal needs to have been completed before you submit your completed application:
    • Tenanted or sold
    • Deal must have been completed between 31 July 2021 and 31 July 2024
  • Competition is closed to persons under the age of 18, family members or employees of the host company, SA Property Investors network, and sponsors are barred from entry.
  • Entrants must reside within South Africa.

• Entrants MUST be willing to travel to the gala dinner for final judgement, the SA property Investors Gala dinner will be held on the 14 September 2024 in Johannesburg.
• The judges decision will be final and no correspondence will be entertained.
• Should you be chosen as a Finalist, your ticket to the gala dinner is complimentary.
• Guests attend at their own costs. Please note that seats are limited and availability can not be guaranteed.
• Travel and accommodation is not included in the ticket price.

Confidentiality

For your peace of mind here are a few things you should know:

• Your information is kept in a secure location only accessible by the judging panel
• By giving us the information you DO NOT give us permission to distribute or publish
• Your Panel Judges will only be given your deal’s details if you are a finalist.
• All the Entry Information (Supporting documents) is DESTROYED when the awards are over.
• By participating in our competition, you grant permission for us to publish your photo, as well as high-level information about your deal, on social media for marketing purposes.
• By participating in our competition, you agree to promote the ‘Investor of the Year Award’ on your own social media channels. In the event that you are unable to promote, please inform the office.
